Make AI useful.
Less hype. More impact.

I help businesses connect existing systems, replace manual workflows, simplify processes and build better internal tools when it makes sense — so you can save time and create more value.

The real problem

Most companies do not need “an AI strategy.”

They need clarity on where AI is worth using, what should be built, and how to get from an interesting demo to a workflow people will actually rely on.

01 / Clarity

“We know AI matters. We do not know where to start.”

I identify the workflows and commercial opportunities where AI is likely to create meaningful value — and filter out the noise.

02 / Execution

“We have ideas, but nothing concrete has happened.”

I turn promising ideas into working prototypes, internal tools and redesigned workflows quickly enough to test whether they deserve further investment.

03 / Bridge

“Business and technology are talking past each other.”

I translate commercial needs into practical product and software decisions — without losing sight of users, constraints or the business case.

What I do

Three ways I create value.

The engagement can be advisory, hands-on or both. I prefer concrete outcomes over long consulting deliverables.

01

Find the opportunity

Work out where AI or better digital execution can materially improve the business before committing resources.

02

Build the proof

Move from discussion to something tangible: a prototype, internal tool, automation or customer-facing workflow.

03

Turn it into business

Connect the solution to real users, operations and commercial logic so it becomes more than a technical experiment.

How we work

Small steps.
Fast evidence.

I prefer to reduce uncertainty early. Instead of committing to a large programme, we identify the most valuable assumption and test it with the smallest credible piece of work.

01

Define the business problem

Clarify the workflow, user, constraint and economic value. AI is not automatically the answer.

02

Choose the smallest useful test

Decide what we need to learn and what can be built quickly enough to answer that question.

Reduce risk
03

Build and put it in front of reality

Prototype the workflow, tool or product and test it against actual operating conditions and user needs.

Get evidence
04

Scale only what earns it

If the evidence is good, improve reliability, integration and adoption. If not, change direction before the sunk cost grows.

Then invest

Selected operating evidence

Built experience, not borrowed credibility.

These are real ventures and products I have worked on. Where I do not have a defensible public result metric, I do not manufacture one.

Advice shaped by building things myself.

My background spans business development, marketing, e-commerce, software, UX, operations and entrepreneurship. Today I combine that operator experience with hands-on AI-assisted product and software development.

I have spent more than two decades working where commercial decisions and technology meet. That changes the questions I ask: Who uses this? What does it replace? Why is it better? What is it worth? How quickly can we test it?

Fit

Useful when you need judgement and execution in the same room.

Good fit

  • You have a real business problem and suspect AI or software could solve it.
  • You want an independent sparring partner who can also prototype.
  • You need to move from vague opportunity to concrete next step.
  • You care more about business outcome than fashionable technology.

Probably not the right fit

  • You mainly need a generic keynote about what AI is.
  • You already have a fully specified enterprise IT project needing a large delivery team.
  • You want AI added purely because competitors are talking about it.
  • You want a long strategy report without implementation responsibility.

Before you get in touch

A few useful answers.

Do I need a defined AI project already?

No. In many cases the useful first step is determining whether AI belongs in the solution at all. A concrete business problem is more useful than a pre-selected technology.

Are you a strategist or a developer?

Both sides matter in my work. I can help frame the business case and product direction, but I also work hands-on with prototypes, automation and AI-assisted software development. The exact mix depends on the problem.

Do you work with existing teams?

Yes. I can work directly with founders or management, or bridge between business, product and technical teams when the challenge sits across those functions.

What size companies do you work with?

The work is most relevant when a company can move on good ideas: founder-led businesses, SMEs and teams inside larger organisations that need practical progress rather than a broad transformation programme.

Start with the problem

Tell me where the business is stuck.

You do not need to know whether AI is the right answer. Send me the workflow, bottleneck, opportunity or idea. I can help determine whether there is something worth pursuing.

A good place to start

What would you like to improve?

Describe the problem in your own words. It does not need to be fully formed or framed as an AI project.

I usually reply within one business day.
